Our planet is large, but small enough to explore all that interests you. There is no time for sitting behind a desk doing the same thing day in and day out. The world is out there, so take the first step, and we will be there to help you explore the unique people and cultures of this planet.

What's in a Name?

An ancient Chinese philosopher called our planet “ 天下” (tiān xià ), which literally means beneath the heaven or beneath the sky. In some Asian countries, “天” (tiān) is still used as a synonym  of the heaven, sky, the Creator, or something that human beings are not able to control.  “天” (tiān) was sometimes referred as a Big Tree, its branches and leaves covers all over us from villages to villages, regions to regions, continents to continents. Thus, “ 天下” (tiān xià) is also Beneath the Tree.

We are living on this planet, sharing the land, the ocean, air, water, resources, all under one Big Tree, our planet earth.
